Severe Weather Support - East Down Parish
In case of very bad weather the following people have access to 4x4 vehicles and are willing to help with emergency shopping if people are unable to leave their houses due to bad weather such as snow and ice.
Grit Bins (for treatment of highways only) can be found at the following locations:
- The road junction at Broad Park Farm (Bugford)
- Church Corner
- Pyne Arms Car Park
- Near the bridge at Lower Clifton
- Half way up Churchill Hill
- Near the top of Churchill Hill
- By the signpost at Churchill
- Road junction at Ashelford
Please let Keith Phillips know if any bin (old or new) needs replenishing.
